On summer Tricotoki girls, Amaia, Laia and Mariló,  contacted us because they were embarking on a very special project and wanted to have us with them. Tricotoki Craft is a handmakers space in the centre of Bilbao (at last a place like that!) near la Alhóndiga. There, people can target different workshops according to their concerns and exploit their creativity.  Tricotoki girls trusted in Jositajosi to take care of the seam part. On Wednesday September 12th we gave the first workshop in Tricotoki, so we can say that we inaugurate the place.

The workshop was attended by seven attendees, Aitziber, Amaya, Elena, Marta, Elena, Rebeca and Eva. None of them had ever sewn with a sewing machine, but they were brave and gave their all during the two hours we were there. They were sewing non stop even when one of the sewing machines said he wanted to take a vacation. Workshops are a good way to learn new crafts or improve your skills, you just need to take part of them because materials, tools and teachers are included.

At the end of the two hours, I think that nearly everybody brought a placemat and a napkin to house. Bold ones even had wanted to take some extra material to make more at home.
